HOW TO TEST YOUR SURVEY

**At this point, I'm assuming you have created a "web" in FrontPage and set up your survey according to the instructions posted on egroups.

1. Open FrontPage
2. Choose "File" & "Open Web..." -- open the web you created for your survey form files
3. Choose "File" & "Publish Web..."
4. IMPORTANT! Where it says, "Specify the location to publish your web to:" you should type the following:
   
   http://www.grad-web.business.utah.edu/foldername/
   
   . . . where "foldername" is a name you would like your folder to be created as, which means... you choose the folder name (whatever you want, but it's probably a good idea to use your name for your folder name).
   
   
   
   
5. Once you have the correct location typed in, click "Publish."
6. You will be prompted for a username and password, which are the same username and password used to access this file:

• User name: mbaweb
• Password: test1
  
  
  
  

7. You may be asked about the web structure as shown below. I chose to "Let FrontPage merge the changes" in this case because it's probably the most 'user-friendly' option.
   
   
   
   
8. During the file transfer, you should see a screen similar to this:
   
   
   
   
9. If all goes well, you will see a confirmation of your web publishing:
   
   
   
   
10. You may be prompted for a username and password again. They are the same as in step 6.
    
    Once again... I could never get my published work to display on any Internet Explorer browser, so if you can't seem to view the pages you've published successfully, make sure you try viewing them using Netscape.
    
    
11. Voila! Test away.
